Welcoming BBQ and following up...

Hey Leadership,

Great job last night! There was an overwhelming sense that I got from some old and new people that they really enjoyed the evening; from killing new people during "Mafia" to the crazy eight legged "Takohachi." It was a wonderful time where relationships were strengthened and new ones were formed. I am quite confident that the three new people, Riohe, Hidemi, and Eric loved their time as well and will be coming back in the future.

For starters, I think we should do our best to pray for them as the first part of "following up." If we are leading ICF, we should be faithful in our prayer life for the students who attend. Also, I am having a few students over to my house this week and will be having dessert and a movie. Pray for that as well as I have asked some students who haven't been to ICF in a long time.

Jessica, please do me a favor and email me the three new student's email addresses. I know all of us should not email them or it might be overwhelming, but I know that a few of us will. Tim, if you were able to connect with any of the new students, I know you will email them and welcome them. I will do the same and I ask that at least one more person email them as well, possibly a girl.

Other than that, thanks for all the hard work you guys did to make this evening a reality! Even if you feel like you didn't do that much, your presence made it that much better. And Yama, we love you and hope you are feeling better! Great job to the worship team and you guys sounded great!

-Dan
