hey all

please review the email i sent out regarding aug 31st. if you didnt get it or, you cant access your email and you are here..at our blog...

here it is:
aug31st: icf welcome party!!

the schedule is as follows:

bbq dinner- uncle and dan parkins are the official cooks! we'll have salad, corn and fruits as well. regulars pay $5.

welcome-worship team with the welcome song and maybe another upbeat song? and the welcome by the welcome team. uncle or dan parkins will talk for a bit..like welcoming pple, about icf and pray. maybe this will be a good time for the offering.

games/movies- from then, we'll have 'free time' with:

• the 'murder' game: maeda can you take charge please?
• phase 10: aunt m/akiko can you take charge please?
• rummikub/mahjong: jun/nobu can you take charge please?
• movie: i'll run to the library and borrow a wide selection.

miscellanous:

we should have name tags- i'll get two pple to help me with this.

someone needs to collect the money from the regulars. can the Finance team (daniel jani/chris) take charge of this?

are we still having dessert?

hey everyone,

i've sent out an email regarding the upcoming events for august. i'll post a final schedule with task assignments and such asap. :)

also, i've received a budget from the Finance team of $20 to buy cards. anyone know cheap but nice cards?

another thing, uncle wichit has bought the miniclip boards.

and this morning, uncle mike left on his cross country bike ride to kansas. pray for him k?

Friday, August 17th, 2007

First off, Daniel and Emiko, we missed you on Friday night. I hope everything went well...

Second, sorry Yama for not going to the Surfing Lessons this morning. Remember when I told you on our meeting Wednesday that the doctors doubled my medications? Friday night I was still feeling the effects of them and felt it was best that I not push it. I sure hope to support you when I can, but for now, my health takes priority. Please forgive that.

Finally, for the rest of you, I will not be there this Friday as I will be flying out of town with Kelly and Noah early Thursday morning for a wedding. I wish I could be but we had this planned for a long time. That means I will not be leading the believer's Bible study. Any suggestions for what we should do?

Hey all! Here are the tasks recap of the August 2007 Meeting.

All:
-Source out and establish relationships with accountability partners.
-Pray and think about the Drama/Theater Ministry.
-Bring easy-to-ship items like DVDs and CDs to sell.

Finance Team:
-Send Jessica a budget for birthday cards.
-Establish a budget for clipboards for the Welcome Cards.

Akiko:
-Powerpoint Slideshow for Aug 31st.
-Mixed Group Questions for Aug 24th.

Daniel J:
-Approach Daniel P. about ICF North support the Parkins.

Daniel P:
-Aid Akiko in formulating questions for Mixed Groups on 24th Aug.
-Send out the Accountability material to the ICF North Leadership team.
-Help BBQ on Aug 31st.

Emiko:
-Prepare to lead September Meeting on the 8th.

Jessica:
-Update everyone on the Welcome Party, September Retreat/Meeting.
-Build up alumni database.

Tim C:
-Shrink the Welcome Cards to half a page.

Yama:
- Send out Accountability pamphlet as attachment in and email to the team.

Wichit:
-Buy meat, corn and such for ICF Welcome Party on 31st Aug

Just a little reminder blog post, a recap if you will, of our July meeting. Please take note of the tasks you have to complete. Thanks!!

-Let Daniel Jani know beforehand when you buy things outside of norm for ICF.
-Inform Tim C of any suggestions you may have for the Welcome Team.
-All information to be placed on the weekly invites have to be confirmed and sent to the Janis at least a week in advance.
- Poll and ponder over the possiblity of setting up a Drama ministry in ICF.

Welcome Team:
-Meeting was to have been held on July 13th.

Akiko:
-Send out summer worship schedule to Dan Parkins/ Jessica.
-Leading August's Mixed Groups.

Mike:
-Prepare for believers' Bible study for August 3rd.

Miriam:
-Contact EFCC culinary missionaries abour specific food requests.
-Confirm dates ICF can have the beachhouse.

Tim C:
-Dicuss with Noot regarding the leadership of the Welcome Team.

Yama:
-Lead the August '07 meeting on Aug 4th at 530pm.
