aug31st: icf welcome party!!
the schedule is as follows:
bbq dinner- uncle and dan parkins are the official cooks! we'll have salad, corn and fruits as well. regulars pay $5.
welcome-worship team with the welcome song and maybe another upbeat song? and the welcome by the welcome team. uncle or dan parkins will talk for a bit..like welcoming pple, about icf and pray. maybe this will be a good time for the offering.
games/movies- from then, we'll have 'free time' with:
- the 'murder' game: maeda can you take charge please?
- phase 10: aunt m/akiko can you take charge please?
- rummikub/mahjong: jun/nobu can you take charge please?
- movie: i'll run to the library and borrow a wide selection.
we should have name tags- i'll get two pple to help me with this.
someone needs to collect the money from the regulars. can the Finance team (daniel jani/chris) take charge of this?
are we still having dessert?

I still need to discuss with Uncle on what I will be bringing to cook...any suggestions?
Maybe some ribs AND chicken from Costco...I'll check and see what they have...how much money do we have budgeted for this?
hmm..talk to uncle. he knows best what's going on about finances.
